The CrossFit Open starts this Thursday February 16th. I just checked the schedule and it is to be announced at noon so we can plan on getting started at the Thursday night classes and all classes on Friday. If you can’t make any of those times, talk to a coach about scheduling an appointment. Don’t wait until Monday because the scores need to be submitted by 5 pm on Monday. You have the rest of the week to get signed up for the 3 week test. This will be a great test of your fitness and see how you stack up against the rest of the CrossFit world.
Valentine’s Day is Tuesday. Go get a card and a treat for your Valentine TODAY.
February is pushup month so keep up on your assignments. Whether you chose to increase each day by 1,2 or 3 reps you need to stay up on your daily assignment. You will be shocked at the improvement you will see if you are diligent about getting the reps in EVERY day. Today is the 11th so you should be doing either 11, 22 or 33 pushups today. 3,2,1 GO!
Next Saturday Feb 18th is bring a friend day for the Poker WOD. Invite a co worker, friend, neighbor or relative to join you and see what you’ve been up to on those Saturday mornings. Let’s share our love of fitness and encourage those we hang out with to come join us and see what it’s all about.
