Here we go with the annual CrossFit Games this week.  There will be tons of videos posted showing everything from the teens to the master, from the teams to the individuals.  They will burpee their way through the events showing just why they are the best of the best, the beasties of the beasts and just how fit you can git!  Tia Claire Toomey is the favorite to come out as the Fittest Woman In The World but since Matt Fraser retired this year the men’s spot is up for grabs.  This could really play out to be a great show.  You can find all the information you want at CrossFit.com/games.   I am betting on Brook Wells and Patrick Vellner.  Anyone else have any favorites they want to share?

CrossFit also posted this week that the OPEN Workouts will start Feb 24 of 2022.  That gives us plenty of time to start getting ready.  Maybe I should work in some wall walks this week?  Well, maybe not jus yet- you can throw them in your cash out if you want.  If you haven’t noticed, it seems like there is always an event, challenge or Open to work towards.  It gives a good goal to work towards.  We will be scheduling meetings with you this month to review what your goals are.  We will start with a handout for you to list out 3 goals you would like to work on for the next 3 months and then schedule a meeting to discuss the game plan with your coach.  Let’s sit down and see how we can help you tick off those boxes and move forward with strength, weight loss, improved sleep, better flexibility or mental sharpness to name just a few.  Give it some thought, we will be in touch very soon.  I want to see all of you reach your goals.  How can I help?

Next month there is a local event, Monmouth, put on by the NW Fit Games.  I will follow up with dates and times.  We have had participants in this in the past and these are fun events to showcase local athletes.  It is free to attend and is impressive to watch how many fit people there are locally.  More information to follow.

Schedule this week- Monday-Friday 5am, 6am, 4:30 pm and 5:30 pm.  Saturday OPEN GYM/WOD at 9 am.  A great opportunity to bring a friend for a free workout.
